What solution do you use for rollersetting? Does it leave your hair shiney?

I use motions wrap setting lotion. It does not leave my hair shiny. At least I don't think so.

But I use PM Foaming pomade and argan oil for my hair.

Other times, I will use a creamy leave-in with some serum, and a setting lotion of some sort. Depends on what you are looking for in a set.

I use my normal creamy leave ins and then I use a 1:3 water to lottabody ratio.

Using the lotta body gives me soft sheeny (not shiny) sets. I'm transitioning though. the reults may differ on fully relaxed or fully natural hair.

I don't use any solution...just a good leave-in (Lacio Lacio or Pureology), a bit of Chi-Silk Infusion, and a bit of castor oil. I find that setting lotion or foam always makes my hair feel a little dry.
This way, my hair usually comes out pretty soft and shiny and very moisturized.
