Is keracare 1st lather a clarifying shampoo, or just meant to be used prior to the hydrating detangling shampoo?

I'm currently using johnson & johnsons baby shampoo detangling formula. It feels gentle & non stripping. The bottle is HUGE and will last a while.
Tried and liked the garnier fructis fortyfying. Tried and did not like the garnier fructis smooth and sleek. Tried and didn't mind the St Ives. silk shampoo.
Best Shampoo I ever tried: Phytocitrus shampoo (also the most expensive shampoo I ever tried...

Labett--have you ever used the OTC version of Nizoral? If I remember correctly it was drying but very effective. It was so expensive though so I'm now using the CVS knockoff of T-Gel which is so-so. I plan to put the Nizoral back in my budget...

what other dandruff shampoos have you tried since you wrote Nizoral as the best?

Both. At least that's what the bottle says.

**Keracare 1st Lather Shampoo deep cleans and is designed for use prior to a conditioning shampoo. It ^ produces a rich lather to cleanse the hair of oils, dirt and styling products, without stripping the hair. ^ Beautifully prepares the hair for a second sudsing with a conditioning shampoo. **

Elasta QP Bodifying (clarifier)
Nizoral Prescription Strength
KeraCare Hydrating Detangling

my hair is 4A relaxed.

my hair is an odd combination of 2C to 3B-3C. but its quite fine and prone to tangles at the ends..curlier hairs can wrap around wavy hairs.
I am exclusively using the LongHairs system. Everything is included: scalp oils, shampoos to rotate, varied conditioners, and leave-ins. I've never been so excited about a new product line.

I've previously used Ouidad Curl Quencher line. I've used Pantene Hydrating Curls in a pinch. For CO washes I've done St. Ives Raspberry w/Jojoba Oil.

I'm bored...so I'll add mine

Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo
Redken All Soft
Loreal Vive (nutri-moisture)
Down Under Naturals Clarifying

I also have Nexxus botanoil which I no longer use cuz it sucks, lol...

This thread has me majorly wanting to try:
Elasta QP Creme Conditioning Shampoo
Nexxus Threappe (sp)
Pantene Clarifying, although someone said a while back that it was very stripping.

I use a salon shampoo and conditioner which contain almond and honey. My hair type is a type 4 but I don't know if I am type 4a or 4b.

I like Kenra Moisturizing Shampoo and Nexxus Therappe, they both make my hair feel soft and moisturized. I especially like the Kenra, it really detangled my hair. My hair is mostly 4a and 3c on the crown.

This thread has me wanting to try Keracare hydrating detangling!

I usually rotate between these four once a month:
Creme of Nature Moisturizing Shampoo
Breakthru
Pantene Smooth & Sleek
Herbal Essence Intensive Blends

I use Pantene Moisturizing Shampoo
Pantene Intensive Moisturizing Conditioner
Pantene Deep Fortifying Treatment
Pantene Intensive Restoration Treatment
Garnier Frutis Fortifying Creme Conditioner
Garnier Frutis 3- minute Masque

My favorite shampoos are:
1. Creme of Nature
2. L.U.S.T. (just recently starting using, it's great)
3. Dove shampoo and conditioners
I switch up from time to time with the more popular, more expensive products, but these work just as well for my hair type which is 3c-d-ish.

I love Keracare H & D. It completely detangles my hair which used to tangle horribly. I used to use Creme of Nature which was really good as detangler also but after a while my hair didn't feel clean after using it. It leaves a build up which I guess could be alleviated by using a clarifying shampoo after every few weeks but I didn't know to do that back then.

My hair is 3c/4a relaxed.

I use Elucence Moisture Balance Shampoo and I'm looking forward to trying out Elucence's Moisture Acidifying Shampoo and L'Anza's Protein Plus shampoo.
