I'm talking about the Frizz Ease type clear liquid that you apply to dry hair.

ETA: I find that that stuff protects my hair when I wear it down so as to prevent harsh rubbing against my clothes, etc.

I use the Silk Elements Gloss Polish it's about $6.99 at Sally's for a nice size bottle. I love it and it gives my hair a great shine.

I don't use serums. They tend to be straight up silicones. My hair hates cones (except for the ones that start or end w/ PEG).

Oh yeah, I had to go to my hair stuff to read the name of the other serum I use.

Amazing Length Triple Gro
"
Anti-Shedding Healing Serum"

It's a clear bottle with a green top. Post a pic later if you would like

Fantasia IC Olive Oil Serum
Fantasia IC Straighteneing Serum
Fantasia IC Hair Polisher Serum

As you can see I LOVE their Serums!

Biosilk. I love this stuff. Doesn't make my hair greasy and doesn't weigh it down. It's a bit pricey, but you can get it from places like Target and CVS. It's a little cheaper at those places.

I use IC for color treated and chemically damaged hair (in a blue bottle), Garnier Fructis sleek and shine weightless anti-frizz serum, pantene smooth and shine serum and also neutrogena triple moisture healing shine serum for extra dry hair and over processed hair. I love serums as you can see.

Same here. I only use them when I flat iron after a touch-up. I don't use heat, so I just don't feel the need for serums. Just my opinion.

I've been using the Aveda Brillilant Emollient serum (about $24), which lasts a very long time! It says it has cones but somehow, I don't have to clarify after using this serum. The results are beautiful. This is a thick, clear serum.

Before this, I used Luster's Pink Glosser (around $4) which has no cones and works very well! It is a spray.

Both are light and eliminate frizz besides adding lots of shine. Both contain castor oil and some other essential oils. Aveda is better, IMO.

Me too. When I feel like splurging (or on clients) I use Biosilk. It's fabulous. But F IC is great for the price IMO.

I use L'oreal smooth liss intense serum and I am waiting for my CHI serum fro folica.com
I also have Salerm Silk Touch serum and NTM, so far, l'oreal is the one I love.

I also used redken heat glide to protect from the flat iron, I did not think it was a serum but a heat protectant, is that the same thing?(because it has cones?)

@ NVYBEAUTY- your pincurls are gawjess!!!
I may have to try soon!!!

CHi Silk Infusion (recent convert)

My natural hair isn't a fan of serums unless it's been straightened. For that I love Elucence Silk Hydrating Elixir (very light) or Giovanni Frizz Be Gone (thicker). They both smell wonderful, especially Giovanni.

I have three different: Olive Polish by Frederic Fekkai, one by Oscar Blandi and the one by Smooth Down from Redken. I love serums!!! Really great to flat iron with :D
