What rods or rollers should I use?

That is a pretty roller set style.. I am not sure what size rollers that was used in the photo... my guess would be a med to large perm rod roller. I roller set my hair every time I wash 2x a week and I use the magnetic rollers medium size mostly and my curls are somewhat loose compared to that photo... I don't know for sure what she used but my guess is the perm rods

I would use orange perm rods. It depends on how long your hair is. The trick is rolling them in a spiral fashion. And that you separate each curl when you take out the rod.

Like this. They are using straws but the concept is the same. you take the setion of hair, start rolling at the bottom of the rod and continue till you get to the scalp. The roller should hang down, not sit on the scalp as a regulary rollerset. HTH.
