sew-ins for the rest of the year!!!!!!!!!!!!
I really want to try a half-wig but some people at work pull on my hair and I know I would be embarrased if my wig was in their hands!

My signature up-do...
you can see it on my blog
I live in Miami... it's
too hot for rollersets...
I love just co-washing,
pinning it up, and going about my business.

I've been wearing a sew-in for the past 5 weeks. It is super hot and I don't feel like dealing with trying to style my hair.

I'm still rocking my pontail bun 98% of the time!
Trying to make APL before Christmas... 6wks post relaxer & have major shrinkage, will be going at least 12wks post not sure if any longer though..

So far this summer I have done a lot of wash n go's. When I wear those I co-wash like every other day. Now I am rocking a flat 2 strand twists with the ends tucked under. I have a phony pony that I will probably wear every now and then and I am going to be roller setting as well. When my roller set is about to give way, I will probably do my donut bun for several days before I head back to flat 2 strand twisting. I am all about protective styling, low manipulation and hiding my ends.

my usual updo. i would like to use banana clips but my hair is thin so it wouldnt look right.
Why don't you try a UPA Clip. They are custom made to match the texture and thickness of your hair so that it looks totally natural.

The UPA Clip is a pefect protective style, it sandwiches your natural ponytail between the hair that is attached to the brackets on the UPA Clip. Totally covers and protects the ends of your hair.

My new love is the donut sock bun! I do it on me and my 5 year old. She loves it. I give her two! lol I have also worn sew ins this summer and plan to get another next month.

buns, which have been pretty handy- (i usually do a high bun, side bun, or a low bun), also french braids (i've attempted doing them on my own hair which is hard but so pretty, box braids, two-strand twists, Regular up-dos where my hair is fully out just thrown up with a clip (doesn't sound too protective but my hair doesn't get snagged or snapped on anything!), Side ponytails (which i'm starting to ween myself off of)....and that pretty much rounds it up..lol

I'm wearing cornrows under a wig. It's always about 40 degrees in my office so I bring a coat to work year round. Outside, I wear the cornrows and a natural-looking phony pony.

a boring bun, just twist it around and stick a pin(s) in it and go. Once in awhile I will pull out the banana clip.
