I'm wearing half wigs, with my hair cornrowed underneath, except yesterday, it was so hot, :burn: I took that buddy off, and I were just the cornrows, today, I have it in a bun, with my halfwig, I am not sure if I will be wearing it the whole summer, may fail that challenge:ohwell:

So far the bun (of course right?), braidouts, and rollersets. But i would also like to try this summer some twistouts, french rolls, and caruso sets.

I have done the banana clip once so far but for the most part, I am bunning it. In a week or so, I am thinking of getting cornrows back into a bun. I may end up trying it myself. I will be protecting it ALL summer though! The closest to wearing it out has been my braidout ;)

BANTU KNOT-OUTS!! My new favorite style! (See avatar). Also workin the "donut bun" (ALMOST have it perfected. Just gotta work with tuckin my hair UNDER the bun -- any suggestions would be welcome!)

Use a rattail comb. Comb with the comb end of the rattail comb, then use the tail end to smush your hair under the donut with the tail. It works every time! HTH!

I'm wearing braids, rollersets and buns.

I was going to keep it braided for the whole summer, but I'm afraid that it my start breaking if I don't get it relaxed that long. My hair has made alot of progress I don't want to have another set back.

Buns.

It's getting harder and harder to make a french twist with my hair.:( I can't seem to make them neat and my arms get tired.

Weaves and wigs. I really want some cornrows but I don't really have money to spend on getting my hair done right now. :ohwell: I can do my own weave.

Just had my stylist put my hair up with some twist and knot in the front and a hurge french twist in the back. I will rock that for awhile. But most likely roller sets, low bun twist and whatever may come to mind in the coming weeks...

I'm wearing the same one I always wear: box braids. Periodically, I undo them for a braid-out and then I rebraid. Easiest regimen ever.

I have been wanting and finally got an afro puff phony pony! I am loving it! I can keep my ends baggied inside of it and it's really cute on. Even my 12-year old gave me a thumb's up! I also have a plain bun cover that I'm wearing for when I go on job interviews.

Im gonna do buns. I always dress them up by wearing some dangly earrings. Ive actually grown to like buns. Who knew? Im not trying to wear my hair down this summer so this Texas heat can dry it out :nono:

Tiny plaits on natural hair with no extentions. Or cornrows with extensions. Will alternate the styles. The plaits is the most convenient since I can wash and condition without it unraveling. I have the plaits in since 1st week of June and will go thru end of July. Then do a set of cornrowns for 2 weeks, and back to the plaits.

I have my hair in cornrows with a phony pony on the ends. I'm baggying my hair under my phony pony during the day. I hope to keep this style until the end of July but I'm using BT for the first time. If the cornrows start looking untidy because of teh BT growth spurt, I'll change my summer style a lot sooner than I anticipated!

I'mma continue to rock donut buns, but I gotta be honest: Aveda products got my hair looking so healthy and shiny that I really want to keep wearing my spiral sets out. So, this summer I'm stretching and the buns and spiral sets are good to go. I do my spiral once a week after my wash for a couple of days, and then it's back to the buns.

I also bought some Flexi-8 barrettes so that I can wear it up in the French twists. Those barrettes are going to come in very handy...

It's officially summer, ya'll! Let's take advantage of the weather and grow hair, GROW!!!!!!! :dance7:

I'm wearing a wash and go for the summer...I want to have my hair tension free for these few months
