i know there's a thread already about things you've purchased, but i'd love to hear about what products you've SPLURGED on!

(as in, what EXPENSIVE products have you purchased that you normally wouldn't buy?)

i splurged on half a liter of Aveda Damage Remedy Intensive Treatment. And I'm happy to say that it will be the last product i'll need for at least a year. :grin:

Whoo buddy, that Sedu flat iron was definitely NOT in my budget so that's my splurge, especially since my last flat iron cost me $95. This one better last me longer than one friggin year!

Today was my BSS splurge. I haven't bought stuff for a long time. My splurge was $90+
: Apoghee Shampoo for Damaged Hair
- Apoghee Two Step Protein Treatment w/ Balancing Moisturizer
- Elasta QP Mango Butter
- Creme of Nature (Jojoba & Olive Oil) Moisture-Active Deep Conditioning Treatment
- 2 Packs of Weave 14' #1
- Tea Tree Oil
- Hair Shears
- Plastic Caps

I think I'm good for a lil bit. I was in that BSS for like an hour and a half. :lol:

  2. Mizani Nighttime H2O
I need to restock some of my Joico products.
 
Nothing...I'm cheap. I bought the pump bottle of Aussie Moist today and wanted to slap myself. The other day I spent $44 at the JCPenney sale, then took everything back and bought the GVP versions...LOL

My next mini splurge will be hair for my install, and my next real splurge will be the Salons R Us hair dryer.
 
A steamer and Aveda damage remedy IRT, neither of which I have used yet. :ohwell:

ETA: And a ceramic ionic blow dryer and flatiron.....which may not be used until next year.

earlier this month i splurged on afrodetangler

and today i got the qhemet honey balm and coco etangler. this is a splurge because i think qhemet is exspensive.

also earlier this month i got curl junkie aloe gel which was exspensive to me for a gel, i hope i love it.

im also thinking about splurging on unkle funky's daughter curly magic and extra butter.
 
I haven't really splurged lately. The closest thing to a splurge was Aveda Damage Remedy line.

I really came in this thread to window shop :look:
 
My Sedu Revolution Flatiron. But since I got it off HSN, I was able to break up the payments :woot: Next stop, steamer :yay: And I want the ceramic rollers and a bonnet dryer. I have one, but it sucks :wallbash:
 
My Anita Grant haul :look: I buy stuff all the time and I never consider those splurges per se, but w/my compulsion, the items coming from overseas and the currency exchange rate, I had to make that order COUNT.
 
i plan on getting some anita grant next month but it wont be a huge order. just 2 of each butter.
 
It might not seem like a splurge. But the Afroveda Ashlii Raspberry Mask cost $21 not including shipping and I had to use the entire tub of that runny arse conditioner to coat my hair and it didn't really didn't do anything and didn't detangle either. So $21 + is a splurge for one treatment that wasn't even good. Ok, rant over.

I forgot about: Paul Brown Hawaii as well. I am done for 2009.

I won't be doing it like this come 2010. I will seriously keep it at a minimum. For Real. It's gon' slow waaayyy down.

Moroccan oil and I wasn't impressed. It wasn't bad, but not great either, most certainly not worth $42 for ~3oz :nono:
Sad thing is now I'm ordering pure argan oil :rolleyes:
eta forgot about sabino mb (new formula, unimpressed), aveda damage remedy (unimpressed) alterna hemp & caviar (unimpressed), Nexxus humectress (new and old formulas, unimpressed) my sedu flat iron (that I totally loved :) )
