What popular product didn't work for you?

ORS replenishing pack- made my hair feel mushy
Panteen relaxed and natural mask- tried this a while back and was not impressed but might give it a second chance

Motions Relaxer- :heated:Burned like crazy. Didn't straighten my hair at all.
Dr. Miracle- Hot Gro and the other "greases". This was no miracle.
Carefree Curl Gold- On the fence. Maybe I haven't used it long enough. I like S-Curl and World of Curls moisturizers better.

I'm sure there are others, I just can't remember right now erplexed.

Anything Dr Miracle...from the relaxer to the Hot Grow. It was a hot mess. My hair shedded something terrible from this product.

How do you guys know when a product isn't working for you? Sudden shedding, breaking, poofy hair? Cuz i cant tell if a product is working for me or not.

Aubrey's Honeysuckle Rose conditioner-too thick and hard to spread on my equally thick hair, plus it is not even moisturizing.

Carefree Curl Activator, S-Curl-I don't think my hair likes glycerin.

Aveda Brilliant Humectant

Miss Keys 10 en 1-the smell is sickening to me, plus it made my hair hard. I actually hated Silicon mix too, but today I mixed it with Suave Humectant with Grapeseed oil and DC under the steamer, and my hair was actually soft. Maybe 10 en 1 can be redeemed if I mix it with a moisturizing conditioner with oil also because 10 en 1 and Silicon mix on their own is too much protein for my natural hair.

HE LTR leave-in, HE Hello Hydration conditioner-both felt good going on my hair, but it dries my hair out when it dries.

Pantene Relaxed and Natural Breakage Defense Mask-did nothing for my hair and I still had breakage.

Aruvedyics/ anything that belongs to that group- my hair turned a hard crunchy mess.... to add insult to injury, my wash mix kept getting mold in it. I was spending soo much time mixing that ish and what is This... MOLD?!?!?!?!?! ARE YOU KIDDING????.

I saw everyone getting like 4 inches a month and here i was picking my hair up off the floor..... I was in shock... I wasted all that money and gas driving through little india and this ?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! I am still in disbelief at what little results i got.. The hair shoulda been running out of my scalp let some ppl tell it.

I had to just put that in the garbage becuase it just didnt work for me

EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM.. The most recent offender being the conditioner. My mom swears by this crap. I tried to use that crap to co wash with... Man my hair was soo matted and hard and stiff. Normally cowashing goes well, but not with this heavy on the mineral oil crap...

There is some Olive Oil Nonsense that i tired..... that was a no go for me as well
Add to that Surge 14- that didnt work

Anything ORS ESPECIALLY the ORS Olive Oil pack and bottle. The only thing I liked was the scent.

Any curl activator - scurl, carefree curl, etc.

ETA: I remember now lol. Motions ANYTHING-hate everything in that line to bloody hell! Pantene R &N. A stylist told me a long time ago not to use this stuff, I forgot her reason but I should've listened. I'll be back w/more, but those two are just big no-no's for me.

If something makes your hair break off more than usual, hard, difficult to detangle, rough, matted, etc, then it's not for you

If your hair feels soft, easy to detangle, silky, etc, stick with it!

ORS Replenishing - I mean i guess it worked but the first time I used it i got dry crunchy hair then the second time there was no special thing about it..like every one else said.
Suave Humectant - It gave me really greasy hair. It sucked!

Girl, like everything that doesn't work for me, I used it up on dh and the kids! Their natural hair loved it!
