What popular product didn't work for you?

The best thing to do is mix these products with other ones. :superbanana: This method worked with all of my “rejects” except with the Luster’s Pink Lotion. It didn’t dawn on me that I could have mixed it with conditioner after I threw in several oils. My stylist uses it on my hair, and it works fine when he presses it out. Maybe I had a bad (large) bottle. erplexed Now I hold onto those “rejects,” until I figure out how I can recycle them.

Although the black vanilla leave in, lisa's hair elixar and the hair balm worked well on my hair from Carol's daughters....Her shampoos are a different story. The mint moss left my hair tangly, matty and dirty and heavy feeling. I had to use a clariying shampoo to get that stuff out of there! Its a little bit too light for my hair. The Garnier Frutis hair line seems to not do much for my hair. My hair loves the pantene hair products!

I do think it is good to try different products because then it is easier to tell what works for you and what doesn't. Once you find what works for you your hair will be happy.

Henna--too drying and completely broke off huge chunks of my hair. It also gave me knots and tangles that I never had before or since I've stopped using it.

NTM--yawn.

BT--nothing it made my breakage worse

MTG--witnessed the same growth as before when I didn't use it.
