BHM. Great weave and wig forums.

If you're a seller, NEVER play with anyone's money on BHM because it gets ugly.

I was on BHM but drama was popping off left right and centre,i mean i enjoy a lil drama now and again but it got crazy and also it was extremely cliquish, havent been on there for over a yr

I'm on here, the most and I was on BHM......I haven't seen the cattiness on BHM, but I have seen the cattiness on here, and in a way that's why I stopped being on here so much, and I think after I reach bsl or full apl, I'm going to stop coming on here.......I've tried not to let it get to me, but it's funny how so many people are rude to people they don't even know......I will either be a lurker or just keep it simple and visit here every now and then.......

eleventeeen hunnnerd of them! :)

BUT LHCF is my favorite not only for haircare but political, natural, etc. The list just goes on and on and on....

BHM, but I rarely go there anymore; the spelling and punctuation give me headaches. (Go 'head and slap me, SJ) :lachen:

I'm a "member" of LHCF, BHM, nappturality, and the LHC. And more and more recently I have found myself lurking on K.I.S.S...too much longer and I might join that one.

I used to be a LHCF addict, but as my growth has progressed and good hair techniques have become second nature, I am on here less and less. I visit BHM when I am getting an install...nappturality rarely, and I don't remember the last time I was on LHC. When I do get the "bug" to do my hair I usually turn to LHCF.

I'm a member here and at nappturality. I found both at the same time but I have like 10 posts over there. I lurk there looking for good nappy styles mainly.

I love LHCF. There's so much information here and people participate a lot more. And there's always something new, interesting, and kooky going on.

I feel you girl I am a newbie and I have witnessed alot of cattiness on this board also!
Alot of thing's are just being written in such a sarcastic manner...it's like they write these things thinking others will laugh or think its cute!
Well guys it just aint!!!

I am a member of B.H.M you have to go to the Hair Growth Section. It is definitely active.I can't knock them because I started out with them and learned a lot. I also love this forum. Catty fights can be on this board or B.H.M. I suggest take the info you need and don't get involved in superfluous activity. I am also a member of Traycee's site K.I.S.S B.K.A Keep it simple sista(one word) It's free and a great way to see pics and watch helpful videos. I need all the help I can get! LOL.

I'm a member on BHM [ I joined there 1st] and also a member on
Naturally curly and that is the only board so far I've not seen any drama on but I rarely log on

I was a member at NC for awhile, but couldn't get past the Hair Goddesses over there and how they tried to dominate every conversation.

I have been an on/off member here and BHM since 07 but didn't start really posting until now, and honestly ladies it is hard to build relationships on both boards. People don't really reach out if they don't already know you and some people come off as kind of sarcastic.

I chalk it up to a natural wariness to accept new people so it doesn't bother me enough to stop me from coming on for the good info. I figure once I post more and people get to know me then I will eventually find a good fit.

I'm a member of NP but have never post. I used to be on there everyday but cut down since joining LHCF. I still go back to the style section and to read the NP of the month. The other forums have trimmed down and are not as interesting now. I barely visit other sites like henna for hair forum and LHC.

Wow..you ladies are everywhere. For the longest, this was the only site I was on. I joined healthytextures, but never logged on, then the $99 fee came but I never logged on anyway, so no love lost. I joined kiss and there is less cattiness (sp?) but its slower over there and sometimes harder to get questions answered because of it so I'm here more than anywhere.

I've been on nappturality for a while but have a total of 2 posts. I just lurk and find albums to look at, and the natural styles workshop/forum has lots of ideas.

I used to post on BHM but I haven't been there in a while

I love this board because of the interesting characters and the fact that most posters are Black, but I really like LHC when it comes to growth tips, progress pics, etc. It seems they focus more on LONG HAIR and less on wigs, weaves, BC's, setbacks, etc.

I found Nappturality first when I began transitioning. Because they are anti-straightening, I stopped going there less and less (I was a heat-straightened natural my first few years).

I am also a member of Naturallycurly, but I just joined a couple of months ago and I don't post regularly...I do enjoy their articles though.

I'm also a member of HealthyTextures.com

I'm gonna buy another 3-month membership for that site next month. I see she's doing a 16-week Stretching workshop, I'd be interested in seeing all her tips. Help me minimize my breakage even more when I'm deep into my stretch.
