hair boutique (lurk mode only)
The long hair community (lurk mode only)
Healthy Textures - this one is really growing on me fast!

I go to lots of blogs too

But LHCF is my true love!

YOU MEAN THERE ARE OTHER HAIR FORUMS????????? (j/k)
There was one that I visited once (can't even remember the name of it), but it just didn't feel as "warm" as here and I really couldn't read that long; too much in a hurry to run back over here to see what I was missing!

There are a few blogs that I like though. Hairlove has a great blog/site that chock full of information.

Nappturality was my home for four years while I was natural, when someone on the forum mentioned lime/coconut milk for loosening curls- they mentioned LCHF.

I lurked here for a while, but now it's my home (texlaxed).

I went back to visit Nappturality, but came right back here!!!

Can't get enough of LHCF:grin:

Just this one.

I don't know of any other ones.....well, previous to reading the names of the ones in this thread, I was not aware of any others.
LHCF is all I need--and more!

I am on http://www.nappturality.com all the time. When there's a question that comes up that is better suited for this site, I am not shy about putting that out there in posts, and Pm's. I refer to this site positively! I like it here, or I wouldn't come. I might not agree with everything that's posted, but you'll get that anywhere....... I really like both sites! One has somethin the other doesn't really offer/specialize in and vice versa. That's why I go to both sites.

I joined both right around the same time, and I agree with your statement--they both have dfferent info for different needs. Then I got out of visiting hairboards for a long time, but I'm slowly warming up to both of them. I'm starting to post more, too--I'm generally a lurker everywhere I visit with rare exceptions.

Nappturality is my home.
I post there very often, but I love it here too.
I found this site through Nappturality.

BHM - but only for information on weaves, the other non-weave/wig forums are somewhat dead.

Diaspora hair care - the hair section is somewhat dead but I hear the Off Topic Forum is active (since many of the members are here, I just chat with them here)

Let's Talk Hair - I use to go there because LorraineG was a former member here but it's closed now.

I know there are others but....

I haven't been to BHM ot Hair Boutique in years. I used to visit Naturally Curly but haven't been to the hair board in years only the OT board but I haven't been there in months.

Nappturality and CNappyMeNow  I've been natural for 12 years and found NP last year and it was the first place anyone ever told me that my hair, and in particular my texture (as opposed to current style), was beautiful. I will always :cupid: NP. I like it here, too, for its diversity and openness to a lot of things. All these forums have something to offer me.

I also like Healthy Textures.

Mach was the reason I paid the 5 dollars to join this site. Her site is FREE!!! And has a ton of information. Besides Mach and of course Southern Tease site, this is the only site I visit.

I think I've been a memember of almost every forum mentioned but I only frequent lhcf now.....I wore myself out, lol. I also stop by BHM and Nappturality from time to time.

My first hair board was HairBoutique though. I haven't been by there in a loooong time. It's very slow.

i found healthy textures first. then i heard about this site from there. now i come to both daily! i have been to many of the others but i just havent gotten all into them. two sites are more than enough for me.

The Long Hair Community is the other forum I lurk at. Ironically, when I was going to register for that site last year, a hacker shut it down & I ended up registering here instead. I spent many hours lurking on this site:spinning: But, LynneB, I will have to check out that French site.:yep:
