I go to the www.hairboutique.com forum sometimes, but it's not very active and some of them seem to have beef with LHCF, so I don't go there too often :ohwell:

I know there's BHM and LHC, what other hair forums are there? I wanna be nosey :peek2:

I registered at BHM ....But I haven't logged on once because I can't stay off this site long enough
 
I frequent BHM from time to time. But hey, if it weren't for BHM I don't think I'd know about LHCF. I heard this name tossed around in a positive manner and thought I'd give you guys a look-see.:grin:
 
Good question! I've been curious about this, too.

I go to Nappturality sometimes. It seems to be "website non grata" over in this neck of the woods, though. I don't think I've ever seen anyone here refer to it in a positive light. :lachen:

There are a few members that frequent nappturallity and like it.:grin: I am one of them, but I lurk there. I haven't had time to get into it there to post anything :ohwell:.
 
register on alot but only post on a few.

nappturality (cause i'm natural)
lhcf (cause i'm growing it long)
happycurls - ("hair without drama") nice site that i like alot.
cnappymenow - usually lurking (not a cnapp but i got alot of great info from those sistas)
Belle au naturel - Naturalay from NP's site. It's in french, don't understand it but the pics are bangin' and Naturalay's a sweetie!!!
bhm (lurk mode only) but like the naturals section.
hair boutique (lurk mode only)
naturallycurly (lurk mode only - don't like the hair type categories they use)
diaspora hair care (lurk mode only) not very active though.

I visit the same 3 you do too tiffers but I just recently joined Macherieamour's site and here it is:

The membership is free and it's a new and upcoming hair site.
 
I can only handle two addictions at a time and their can't be of the same nature. So LHCF is it.
 
Happy Curls - I'm a newbie there, and it seems pretty cool. :woot:
TLHC - I tend to do a lot of research there, and it's the only hair board where I stray into the 'non-hair' related areas.... :yep:
LHCF - The 'main' hair board for me. :grin:
CNappyMeNow - I used to be a member there, but got pruned for non-activity. :rolleyes:
Nappturality - I usually only go there to look at the styles :look:
BHM - I think I'm a member there, but I don't like the vibe. :perplexed
NaturallyCurly - used to be a member there, too many wurlies and not enough curlies. :ohwell:

I am on http://www.nappturality.com all the time. When there's a question that comes up that is better suited for this site, I am not shy about putting that out there in posts, and Pm's. I refer to this site positively! I like it here, or I wouldn't come. I might not agree with everything that's posted, but you'll get that anywhere....... I really like both sites! One has somethin the other doesn't really offer/specialize in and vice versa. That's why I go to both sites.
 
BHM- My first forum, used to post there frequently as a newbie, now not so much (poster turned lurker)

LHCF- I get most of my information here, I spend most of my time here now. Love this site!:yep: (Lurker rare poster)

Nappturality.com--Love this site too! It is a MUST for natural hair care and styles and support. (Lurker)

CNappymenow.com--Site for 4b naturals to share info specfic to that hair type. Love it! (Lurker, rare poster)

Ok, so I'm a chronic lurker. :look:

I just discovered diaspora last night while searching for something on Google. I thought it was interesting that they use all the same acronyms used here and BHM. Did not see any familiar faces and did not register.
 
I frequent BHM and LHCF daily.

I mainly like BHM for the defined forums. Also, I find that BHM ladies answers my questions faster than LHCF. Maybe its because I'm still a newbie here. :(

However, I love the wealth of info on LHCF. You girls rock!

<whine> guess i should start learning how to read french. it won't let me see beyond the front page, even after i use my log in. i guess google isn't wanted everywhere, eh?

i think babelfish can translate but it may run into the same problem google did.
