what moisturizing conditioner is better than

You should give Kenra Moisturizing Conditioner a try... I think the Nacidit Olive Oil Conditioner is good as well... Those are my two favorites right now.

Felicia, do you think clarifying, maybe w/an ACV might help you? Esp since your hair liked Humectress before.
 
If you are looking for something cheaper and easier to find, check out Aussie 3-Minute Miracle. Both formulas are very good.

I clarify, but not with the acv. i'm going to give it a try. how much water and acv are you supposed to use again? where do you purchase kenra products?

You sort of have to find the right ratio for your hair. If you search you will see that people use differing amounts. I use 1:16 ratio. Totally depends on your hair though.

I use a 1 quart bottle and add 4 oz (1/2 cup) ACV and fill the rest up with water. So, I guess that's a 1:7 ratio.

That's what I was going to suggest. I've never used ACV rinse before, but a clarifying shampoo will do the job.
