I finally put the shears down. Instead of being so eager to look for the splits (since I have trimmed them all...one by one..) I decided to focus more on why I am getting them. I had another post about being a dusting addict, and someone said the most innovative (and should have been obvious) things...

Condition, condition, condition.

So I went thru my cabinet of products and realized that I needed to a better job, then I wouldn't have the splits to begin with. I mean, I have my nights where I won't moisturize. I will spray my little spray, but that is it. I need more than that for the current condition of my hair.

I have made a decision to improve and stop stumping my own HHJ. I need to get it together. I am here for support! We have to support each other!!

1)What Leave In do you use?

Qhemet Biologics Burdock Root Butter Cream, Qhemet Biologics Amla and Olive Heavy Cream, Karen's Body Beautiful Hair Milk.

2) How often do you apply it?
1-2 times a week, 2 if I am doing a braid out. I apply it after I DC and that's it.

3) How do you apply yours? (i.e. wet hair/dry hair, put oil over it, etc) when I use it after I DC I apply it in sections while my hair is still wet. With a braidout I apply it dry in 4-6 sections depending on how many braids I do. I don't put an oil on top, my moisturizers have oils in them anyway.

4) Where do you purchase your leave in?
Qhemetbiologics.com or Karensbodybeautiful.com. Qhemet makes the best moisturizers in my opinion.

I appreciate that. The WGO has always interested me, but I just hadn't done enough research on it.
