I'm in search of a setting lotion or shall I say setting potion to wrap my hair that won't cause flakiness/build-up and will give my hair body and shine. Is there such a product out there, maybe even from the Dominican line? Thanks

I have tried many setting lotions. I prefer the ones that are either foams or mousses as they are a little bit lighter. I use Isoplus foam mousse and Elasta QP design foam

My favorite is Lottabody foam wrap or creme.
I have used Motions foam wrap too.

Perm Repair has a good one. They may not make it anymore.

thanks ladies...anybody using any kind of Dominican product to wrap or set their hair and what is the name of the product? I am not at all familiar with Dominican products, so I am going to need all the help I can get.

I'm not using any Dominican products to set my hair but whenever I get my touchup, I have them use Elasta QP Silk (Thermal Designing Liquid) before setting it and the results are just...

I've used Lafier Honey and Almond Rinse to set my hair. Works great for me.

I have been using Paul Mitchell Foaming Pommade and it works great.

She is absolutely right! Elasta QP Silk is an all time favorite. I use is extremely diluted in a spray bottle. I use this last during my sets. I also use Lacio lacio as a leave in, follow by Redken smooth down heat glide and olive oil. I get silky roller set EVERYTIME!!!

I've always used LottaBody setting lotion.

I want to try that Motions Foam Wrap and that Pantene R&N Wrap & Setting Lotion as well. I might have to try ElastaQP too!

The key w. the Elasta QP Silk is to use very little....it's just excellent! /images/graemlins/love.gif

elasta qp silk and lottabody...those are my preferences.

i recently bought elasta qp design foam.. i'll be trying it out tomorrow
