What kind of hair rollers do you use?

My hair is getting longer and I use snap on magnetic rollers, but my snap on magnetic rollers only go up to 1 3/4 in. I dont know how to use the pins and clips I was thinking about using self grip rollers. I was wondering if they were safe. I think it may cause breakage

I use the jumbo snap on magnetic rollers my hair is shoulder length it takes my hair about an hour to dry under my babyliss dryer on high heat

I love my hair rollers. I need some smaller ones for the back though

I hate the ones with the snap on cage. I have to add a pin curl clip to hold it in place.

I sit under a bonnet dryer for 45 min. to 1 hour, then I airdry for 7 to 8 hours.

I only use magnetics because I get a smooth, straight set with them, which is nice since I don't use direct heat.


Which ones do you really hate and why?
Magnetics were the first roller I tried. I immediately loved the results, so I've never used anything else. I guess it's a "if it ain't broke..." kinda thing.

Back in the day....when I used to do dry roller sets....believe it or not I used to use brown paper bags.

I used to take those bags tear them into little sections and roll them up into little rolls....and roll my hair up on them.

The magnetic rollers
Red in the nape, grey in the crown, and purple in the front
Close to APL
Fresh relaxer takes 35-45 minutes. 10 weeks post close 1 hour 15 minutes depending on how hot the dryer is.
I don't care for the snap on rollers because it leaves that snap on line.
I like flexirods the best because it curls the quickest.

What kind of rollers do you use ? Mesh most of the time (one or twice a week) and sitting under the hood , big Velcro for a quick set on dry hair before a party, huge magnetic when I have no heart to go under the dryer

What size ? Mesh are 2 in., Velcros are 3 in., magnetic are 4.5 in.

How long does it take your hair to dry? One and half hour under the dryer at hot setting, 5 hours to airdry with the huge magnetic

Which ones you really love and why? The mesh rollers, they are the easiest to sue (with pins)

Which ones do you really hate and why? The plastic ones with small dents
