I have some relaxer in my cup board for over a year.... is it still good?

I'm going to buy fresh anyway, I was just wondering..

I remember Pebbles and I responded to another member that had the same question. If I find that post, I'll bump it up for you.

I read somewhere that a pre-mixed relaxer lasts for 18-24 months if it's kept in a cool dark place. But as far as I know the companies aren't stamping a "manufactured on" date on the product.

I wouldn't use it if its more than a year

Is this the salon kind of relaxers..u know the ones u dont have to mix..

If its been sitting on ur shelf mixed..Iwouldn't put it in my hair after a week or so..

well being that I am so cheap I am goin use one of my mixed relaxers this weekend I am kinda of cautious though.

It is 3 months since I first mixed it and it has been just sitting on my dresser. I have another one that has been in the freezer too.
