Also with a texturizer, it may mean less work for you. And like someone said you'll have both worlds with a texturizer. You can wash and wear (your hair may turn out wavy since it's 4b), and then you can press it for whatever.

I did one for my mother's hair, and it came out fine. No breakage or anything. But if you ever change your mind, GO TO A PROFESSIONAL! /images/graemlins/shocked.gif
 
Just made my appointment for a texturizer! /images/graemlins/grin.gif I know, I'm ridiculous.

She said that the only difference from getting a relaxer is that with the texturizer, she won't leave it in.
It won't break, and I can still do the same styles I do know with a relaxer! /images/graemlins/smile.gif
