I have several powders that I would like to use on my hair but I don't know if I'm using them right because when I mix them they are so gritty. Any suggestions?

I like to put them in a tea bag and steep them like tea..(I do this for a DC or for a rinse mid wash).

Some people mix them into a paste and add conditioner to them for easier washing out.

Or even more recently I've been using them to make an oil infusion:lick:

I mix warm/ hot water into the powder then add oils and conditioner.
Mix and apply.

If you want more ideas join us in the coffee/tea/acv/ayurveda thread. . It's fun times in there:yep:

BUMP...

I've used powders as a paste before but have never tried to make a tea. When you use it as a tea, do you rinse it out or leave it in?
