What is my hair type & co wash question

Hello Ladies,

I can't figure out my hair type. I am relaxed and if I didn't have a relaxer my hair is thick and very course. I'm 100% African American. That is the only way I can describe my hair type.

Secondly, I just discovered today what co- wash means. Can you share your co wash method please?

You have pics of your hair in its natural state? "Thick and coarse" doesn't tell about the curl pattern.

I am 3b/c Natural......

I am new at the natural game....But as far as co-washing whether I was natural or when I was relaxed...was just simply washing my hair with conditioner versus shampoo...

I would have never known my hair type until I went natural to be honest...All I knew is I had very fine, soft hair
