The title speaks for itself.

*your phone rings*

*you look and see a number you haven't seen in a while*

^^^ Lol. My phone automatically rejected his number. I have the Mr. Number app.

ETA: He's not the only one. There have been others in the past summers too. Lol.

loolalooh....do u have an iPhone? I can seem to find the mr.number app.

Your ex called but that ain't got smit to do with it being Summer. How about he thought about ya and just wanted to hear your voice. I would gather he is a ex for a reason. LOL
Girl don't take the fool calls. Next he will be calling from a blocked or private number.

That's what my ex does. If he calls me several times from a recognizable number and I don't answer, he will call me from a blocked number.

I am job hunting right now so I am eager to accept every call right now, hoping its a potential employer...he's gotten me a few times this way..Smh.

Summer may play a role. Men and women tend to get a little friskier and adventurous. I think thats why the term "summer fling" was coined.

candy626 my ex does the same bs. You would think a 50 plus yr old ninja wouldn't play those types of games but the minute a word comes outta his mouf I hang up the phone. I usually don't answer blocked or private calls but my close friends home number is private so sometimes I do pick them up.

Summer fling came from folks meeting and hooking up over the Summer/vacation and going back to there normal lives after. It has nothing to do with an ex calling you during the Summer months or folks getting frisky. Hell ninja's call during the winter months trying to keep warm.

I thought this only happened during winter, when it gets cold and they want 'something' to keep them warm...

No, I have an android. I downloaded Mr. Number off the Google Market (or whatever it is called). I know certain phone companies (like Verizon and Sprint) can block numbers for you, but Tmobile (which I have) won't do that unless you have a family plan. I signed up for it once before.

Lol! I really hope he doesn't called blocked/private. Sometimes I have to answer those calls because they're important.

You know, that makes a lot of sense, but for some reason, they always reach out to me in the spring/summer. I don't hear a peep in the winter time. Lol. Maybe they're boo-ed up with someone else during that time.

I think this all the time as well, I always calls summer "hoe weather" and Winter is "cuffing season" But my exes go HARD when Summer comes along.

Mr. Number? I wish I would have known about that before I changed my number last month...which was right after an ex called. I dont want to hear from ex SOs from my past. I believe in moving forward. I've learned the hard way that exes are exes for a reason. Since January of 2010 I decided I was never ever looking backward and since then, I shut exes down with a quickness. Dont call me, we dont need to be friends, associates, parttime phone buddies, we dont need to catch up on shyyt, you dont need to know what is going on in my life and I dont care what is going on in yours. Move on! I did! By the time I'm finished with them, they dont want to call me anymore.
