What I wanna do

I wanna cut bangs and color my hair jet black.
I was gonna use henna+indigo but frankly I don't have the time for that long process at this juncture.

Anyhoo, I'm going to Jamaica next weekend and I'm wary about coloring my hair before I go because I know my a$$ will be in the warm caribbean sea. (Haven't been swimming in the caribbean sea in almost 3 yrs erplexed)

I'm not sure what to do with my hair....I'll be 6 weeks post next week.

I bought the semi permanent color in the lil brown bottle from clairol beautiful collection. I haven't put it in yet.

this is the beginning of week 6 for me also ...woohoo!!!!!

i just rinsed my hair velvet black yesterday. the color is soooooo deep and black i love it. i havent had black hair in years. anyway i used ADORE brand because it never fails me. i love ador brand. i used it when i had all shades of brown and red hair. you should try it.

I want some DARK BURGUNDY real bad my HENNA SHOWS a lil real that not red enough so i am gonna do another HENNA with a deep color red (dk)wha kinda HENNA anyone know so i can order it cause ready through 259 pages to much.

yea you can get it at sally's or any asian bss. it doesnt come in a box it comes in a little white round bottle with a circle of the color on the front.
its called Adore.

That brand is totally safe, will probably just come out faster from all the swimming, thats the worst that will happen

oh and be sure to rinse your hair as soon as you can after being in the water, and protect it from the drying ravages of the salt water. I'm sure you have an idea of what to do

I did a henna last Friday, the day before I left for vacation, and I stayed in the water most of the week. The good thing about henna color is it doesn't wash out. My color still looks great. I used to love rinses before my hair journey, but they never lasted very long.erplexed

Try two scoops of fresh hibiscus powder in your henna mix. Mix in right before applying. Use a heat cap and leave in for 4-5 hours. I got flaming red/burgundy hair once from this and I have yet to do that again.
