I remember years ago on LHCF everyone use to rave about new image which I believe was discontinued years back. I currently use breakthru as a heat protectant. I think its a little to heavy for my hair. It leaves it really flat. I was thinking about trying either the thermastrenght style serum by mizani or the elasta qp silk heat protectant. Do you ladies have any reviews or suggestions on a good heat protectant that wont weight down my hair??? thanks -Melissa

I really like Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide. I learned about it on this board.

This is what I use and I like it alot.

I recently bought ION from Sally's but haven't tried it.

I haven't tried the ION either but I want to!

I think Redken Smooth Down Heat Glide, Ion's heat protectant, and Beyond The Zone's Turn Up The Heat are the top picks on this board, personally I use Ion's because its the lightest.
