:wallbash::wallbash::wallbash: Can someone please give some insight here!!!! I decided to wash my hair, i have been going gettting it ceramic fused. Anyway I wanted to give myself a protein treatment I have always had good results with the ORS hair mayo treatment. So this is what I did:
I washed with the hydrating keracare shampoo
then put on the hair mayo for about 15 minutes under the cap with no heat
rinsed applied some keracare humecto because sometimes the hair mayo leaves your hair gooey and hard this is where things went crazy. I noticed as I was rinsing my hair started coming out more. Now I don't know if it was from this or because I haven't had a perm since august so I immediately rinsed that out put on the elucence moisturing conditioner rinsed that out.

I then sprayed my hair with the ic leave in with the vitamins and applied a little leave conditioner kera care and sealed with the qp mango butter. My hair was easy to come through but i was still concerned of the shedding. Should I had maybe put on a reconstructor? I don't know. Help Help:crybaby::wallbash:

Sorry this has happened to you.......what is "ceramic fused"? Could this have anything to do with your shedding?

How long do you usually go between relaxers?

Is the hair you're losing shed or broken hairs?

Have you tried the ORS/Humecto combo before? Sometimes, chemicals in different products clash and the results ain't purdy :nono:

Ceramic fusion is a the line from design essentials use that alot of naturals use they use the ceramic and titanium irons no perms. I get this like every 2 weeks but once they style my hair I am done withit I don't touch it.

No I have never use the mayo and humecto before. I acutally don't like that humecto.

I mixed ORS Mayo with something before, and I had excess hair comming out. Tiffers is right, some chemical don't mix well together. Maybe thats the culprit.

I once used the mayo that came with my ORS relaxer the same day and guess what???? my hair was sticky for 3 washes....like i had glue on my hair:wallbash:

I hate that MAYO

Little update:
Okay well I straighten my hair, and wrapped it. It feels okay and soft but my ends look a little frayed. So I put some mango butter on the ends so I am going to see how it looks in the middle of the week. I might go get some healthy ends if it bothers me too much. Shed a little today but not as much. But hey I figure I have not had a perm since august so a little shedding I guess is okay. They say you are supposed to shed about 100 strands a day.
