What gospel song moves you at the moment...

"Healing for my Soul": single from Kelly Price's new gospel CD
"Alpha and Omega" and "Not Forgotten": Israel and New Breed's Live in South Africa CD

Naijaqueen I also love "Be magnified" by Fred Hammond

I love all the following songs and they really talk to me and could have been written by me

By Yolanda Adams:
"Lift Him Up"
"Be Blessed"
"It's Gon Be Nice"
"Someone Watching Over You"
"Victory"

I don't know who sings it but it's a song from the movie "Gospel" and it's called "Lord You Are Good"

"Say Yes" by Shekinah Glory Ministry
"God of Second Chance" by Juanita Bynum
"What God has for me it's for me" by Karen Clark
"Breathe on me/I need thee every hour" by Natalie Grant
"Something about the name Jesus" by Kirk Franklin
"Stand" by Donnie Mcclurkin

Can someone please tell me who sings His Eye Is On The Sparrow? I want to buy this CD. I love Melodies from Heaven and Let me touch you Jesus by Kirk Franklin and the Family.

Thanks,
Tanya

There are many versions of this song. One popular version is from the Sister Act soundtrack where Lauryn Hill sung this song in a duet (sorry I don't remember the other sister's name).

Is that Israel and New Breed?

ETA, yup that's who it is!

"Favor" by Karen Clark Sheard

This is a powerful song!

Favor
I give you favor
You will never want for anything
(repeat)

When you pray I will answer
Ask for rain and watch it fall
This is the hour
I'm pouring out My favor

Favor
I give you favor
You will never want for anything
(repeat)

When you pray I will answer
Ask for rain and watch it fall
This is the hour I'm pouring out (repeat)
My favor

Stand still and receive My favor
Let it rain Let it rain
(repeat)

Let it rain (repeat)

This is the hour I'm pouring out (repeat)
My favor
oooh
Thank You for favor

(speaks)

Stand still and receive My favor
Let it rain Let it rain
(repeat)

I heard somebody say favor ain't fair
but you got to understand that and realize
you've got to be purified for God's favor
You may have a temporary setback
But it's only a permanent setup
For God's raid to reign in your life
Somebody needs to know that tonight
But when you get down on knees and pray
And you ask Him for God's favor
This is all God is saying:
Recieve it
I'll Give it, If you allow me
I want to reign, Down on your soul
I want to prove, That i can take
What the devil, Try to mend for evil
And i will turn it around, for your good
I want to rain (2x)
I want to shine
fall, fall on me
let the favor of God flood my soul

Rain on me
Shine in me
Fall on me
Let the favor of Heaven flood my soul
(Repeat)

"I Hear You Say" Jo Ann Rosario (brings me to tears EACH AND EVERY TIME!
"Victory" Tye Tribbet
"II Chronicles by Darryl Coley

And a host of others.

I KNOW HOW YOU FEEL!!

I will never get tired of listening to that song.

RelaxerRehab I love "Jesus is Love". The piano intro brings me to tears. But the actual words get into my spirit:
Father
Help Your children
And don't let them fall
By the side of the road, mmm...mmm...

And teach them
To love one another
That Heaven might find
A place in their hearts

'Cause Jesus is love
He won't let you down
And I know He's mine forever
Oh, in my heart

We've got to walk on
Walk on through temptation
'Cause His love and His wisdom
Will be our helpin' hand

And I know the Truth
And His words will be our salvation
Lift up our hearts
To be thankful and glad

That Jesus is love
He won't let you down
And I know He's mine
Deep down in my soul

Jesus is love
Oh, yes, He is
He won't let you down
And I know He's mine, He's mine, He's mine, He's mine, all mine
Forever, oh, in my heart
Help me, heart, heart
Ooh...ooh...

(Deep in my heart)
I know, I know, I know, I know
Ah, 'cause His love's the power (Power)
His love's the glory (Glory)
Forever (Ever and ever)

Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Ooh, yeah, yeah (Yeah, yeah)

I wanna follow your star
Wherever it leads me
And I don't mind, Lord
I hope you don't mind

I wanna walk with you
And talk with you
And do all the things you want me to do
'Cause I know that Jesus

(Jesus is Love, I know) 'Cause I know, Lord
(And if you ask, I'll show)
(Love is the word forever) And ever and ever

Who can bring you love (Jesus)
Who can bring you joy (Jesus)
Who can turn your life around (Jesus), oh

Ooh, yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Yeah (Yeah, yeah)
Hey

Who will pick you up (Jesus)
When
