1. I think more of ya'll on here know more than them. And definitely more on ingredients than they do. *chuckles* But I am glad they are learning to be better.

2. Not mixing products and keeping it in the "product family"??? ...I can understand that BUT every product from a certain line may not work for you.

3. I'm mad as hell he said "Ja-Joe-ba conditioner"...its pronounced ho-ho-ba (jojoba) :Lachen:

what ya'll think?

I'm not surprised. I talked to one beautician who didn't know the difference between ceramic coated and pure ceramic irons.

Oh please..... I know more than them about hair care and I'm not even a cosmetologists, I dont see why It would not be okay to mix up different product lines, thats foolishness

WOW!
Now I think the students at the beauty school I used to go to for flatironing were actually quite intelligent...naw they weren't, but their elevators did at least leave the ground floor. Who would take ANY advice from these people?
And the instructor?
WOW!

Awwwww...

I wouldn't let none of 'em in my head but they weren't so bad.

But fo' serious what part of Chicago is that accent from? Cuz they sounded straight kuntray.

They askin a million and wun qwustuns. They don't realize that they face and complexsun won't make the hair look the same.

THe problem with school period ... they teach you want you need to know... but they usually dont encourage thinking out side of the box. Because some guy created "THE BOOK" way back when or a set of beliefs that should not be altered.

I dont agree with the comment about using the whole product line, thats just a heap of mess.. Do you know how expensive it would be to try out a whole line just to only find out it sucks. That was a very alarming statement right there. I think he needs to get the concept that ingredients and quality comes first. A lot of these products lines recreate the same thing and rename it and re-bottle it. Like with NTM recovery mask and NTM daily deep conditioner, I used them and they feel like the same thing. Same thing with the some products in the Chi line. There are also lines that have one signature product but the rest of the line falls short.

NVM I don 't agree with he rest, I'm just glad I'm not a salon girl anymore... not to offend them.. just like having full control of my hair.
