From the Albums I have peeped the procedure comes out looking very nice and seems to last for a while.
Is it a relaxer? Are chemicals involved? Can it be done on young girls in lew of a relaxer? And is it only done in the Northeast-I live in Texas-rural Texas... :look:

DBOs can be done on natural or relaxed hair.
It's when you get your hair rollerset (until completely dry)
and then it's blown, either entirely, or just the roots.

If you wrap your hair, it will stay straight for a while (for some it lasts 1-2 weeks).
If you want curls, you can do pin-curls.

This method requires no direct heat, e.g., Hot curlers, flat iron, etc.
