Thanks ladies for the pics. I was going through a moment where I thought my hair was not quite right because of how it looked wet, but from looking at y'alls I feel much better. My hair is doing fine.
Mine looks crappy. When it is soaking wet it looks nice like the ladies above but as soon as it begins to dry it lookd really dry and hurt. Once dry it looks nice again.
It looks like most of the ladies who posted their pics, more wavy then straight. But i guess it is because I don't relax bone straight. I just assumed that it should look more straight when wet. I have a friend that relaxes aswell but her hair is straight when it is wet. She always comments on how my hair should not be wavy if i have a relaxer.
thanks ladies. i've been promising to post pics forever. i added my regimen to my site. i want to say lindy that i love your fuller curls, and asha, girl, i LOVE your buns! you must post instructions.
Thanks Armyqt. Really, I'm not holding out. I share....
All I really do is wash condition condition and condition some more. Oh yeah...and Bag Balm. Wash and wear. I have a child now I don't have time for myself anymore!!!
flyjump....oh my, how did i ever miss your photo album...my mouth is dropping to the floor. Beautiful hair...please tell me where you get that bag balm and how you use it?
Thanks! I buy mine at Walmart. I think Walgreens carries it too. I only put it on my scalp if it is having a dry moment. I always use it on my hair and mainly the ends and hairline. My college roomie use to mix hers with olive oil to make it lighter. It is a heavy grease. I use mine straight out of the can.
