Mine is like that too femmemuscle lol. I'd say mine holds the scent of any conditioner or product for half a day or less. Maybe it's a porosity thing? IDK Anyway, my hair doesn't smell like anything right now. I haven't washed it since Thursday night, it's slightly oily since it's been 3 days since washing so I'm hoping it doesn't smell like oil lol...
