what does long hair dont care really mean?

It's a lyric from a Lil Wayne song. Basically, it ain't about the hair on your head :(

Without being vulgar, it means that if a woman doesn't shave her privates, he'll still perform oral on her. I'ts pretty gross, actually. Well, most of his songs are.

I just thought it meant she had long hair and was paying no attention to those who had issues with it (e.g. haters).

Lil' Wayne may have used it in his lyrics but that phrase came long before you used and defiled it.

I've always been curious too. I guess I'm leaning towards the person has long hair but it's no big deal. Like, yeah I have long hair.

But I can also see being negative like don't hate on me because I have long hair.

Like I said, don't know if I ever heard a consensus on that.

I thought it may have origins in the war protest movement of the 1960's. Long hair was associated with hippy culture/ protest/ anti-establisment. Even the afro was a long hair anti- establishment symbolic style. That tension was referenced in songs like People Make The World Go Round and other songs of that period.

I thought it mean she had long hair "real hair" despite the haters but thus the origins came from lil Wayne....that makes some sense...but why would she keep her hair long down there?

"yeah I have long hair, and i don't care what you have to say about it"

this is what i understood it to mean

I first heard in a Lloyd song and everybody knows how luscious his hair is (or was). I interpreted it to mean "yeah I have long hair, don't care either, I'm gonna flaunt it".

i didn't mean to defile anything, if that's what you're saying. but whenever I hear that saying, it's in reference to Lil Wayne's lyrics, which he says in several songs.

I found this on Urban Dictionary:

One with Flawless long hair, who maintains his/her feature and uses it to gain advantage over the average short haired male or female in any shape way or form, and who uses his/her wonderful hair to its full advantage.. 'Long hair, Don't care' is for anyone with beautiful hair; Not caring how you rock your hair because his/her's will most likely be more better and stylish.
Guy/Girl 1 - "You need to cut your hair."

Guy/Girl 2 - "Hell no, I got Long hair, dont care"
buy long hair, dont care mugs & shirts
style fashion hair dont care

I agree with urban dictionary. I hear it used like " you don't got $hit on me" long hair, don't care, like a millionaire says he doesn't care about money... But I know you wish you were me.

And as for the lil Wayne song I only heard him reference it to " yellow bone chicks" ... Light skinned girls with long hair but in his other songs like " I don't got no worries" he makes it clear that a "furry" cat doesn't bother him LMAO
