What Does It Mean When You Twists Take Forever To Dry?

Sounds like low porosity. Does your hair get soaking wet immediate when water hits it, or does it take like a minute or so to get saturated?

It may take a minute. I thought it was because of product build up.
 
My twists do that when I use certain products. Mainly pudding-like products.
 
You can always do the wet strand test to see what your porosity is. Some debate it's effectiveness but it can serve as a good starting point.
