I think he is a weirdo and his tricks are of no interest to me. Why would anyone want to hold their breath under water for more than a minute? Even if he did beat the record, what then? Is the world going to spin off of its axis?

I used to like him, and the his weird-ness got to me. But I was never too impressed with his magic. I watched one of his shows and it was nothing special-and I don't believe he can levitate. I'm too much of a skeptic to believe much of it. I think it's tv magic-not evil.

You didn't believe that?? How is it T.V magic though if he did it in front of numerous people on the street? Did you see when he did it in front of Deon Sanders? He had him freaked out...along with the other people he did it infront of. Did you see when he did some trick with Tyra Banks(I 4got what it was) and she was like "Nuh Uh, that's not magic, that's some devil stuff"

I think there are people walking around everyday that are possessed. He is one of them, except with a little bit of fame.

A great conversation piece for dinner guests. First they are like, "Nuh uh" Then they are like "let me try!" Suprisingly easy-and it has nothing to do with the occult. Be it appearances, tone of voice, color of clothes, I'm so tired of people passing judgement in this way. We always shun and rebuke that which we have no desire to understand- Mostly out of fear somebody's "demon possesion" is gonna jump on us. Meh. I'm over it.

True. I completely agree with and value your point. We must be ever mindful of evil in our midsts. But we are also taught to "Fear no evil." And my apologies, my comments were directed at no one in particular. We are all able to write freely-I would never look to stifle that. I just happen to also conceed that there is a difference between witchcraft, occult, magic, etc. and the parlor and camera tricks seen on tv and purchased at the downtown magic shop.

What I do think though is that he is CREEPY beyond belief. I saw one his "on the street" specials on TLC and just the way he looks and the tone of his voice creeps me out to no end. I wonder if he has any interest in being an actor because he would make a perfect SERIAL KILLER!!

ITA agree. My sister thinks David is the devil b/c she is convinced she saw him bring a bird back to life , but in all serioiusness, David Blaine and his illusions are of no interest to me personally.

Levitation is VERY real...Being spiritual people , we should know that our world is not ONE dimensional....In college I took some advanced psychology courses in which (REAL) people had such strong mind control that they could levitate not only themselves but objects as well. In one course on mind control we were given the task of connecting with someone only by using our mind ..It can be done but it takes time to master . I try not to practice this because it IS VERY close to being withcraft(Manipulation)..I didn`t use to believe in telekenesis & hypnosis but I have since personally experienced that they are very real...Our world is indeed more complex that we realize

Yeahhh Criss Angel is another one! They were supposed to be showing a special with him where he levitates from one building to another(no wires people) I have to watch that but I 4got when and what channel it will be on. Gotta check the listings

I completely agree. Fine line in what we percieve to be of evil origins and what actually is completely natural. This difference though, is better left to be discovered by someone else...I wouldn't go there either girl.
