What do YOu use to Flat Iron your hair?

I use my CHI turbo along with any type of serum/hair polish I have on hand or Elasta QP silk thermal styling spray. It works suprisingly well and its cheap!

For the ladies that use a liquid product on their hair before flatironing, do you spray the product on the hair, then immediately start flat ironing, or do you let the product dry fully first? I am wondering how to use thermal heat protection because the directions just say spray on hair, then flat iron. I'm not sure if the hair should be dry or damp from the product.

I think it's best to let your hair completely dry before you FI.

I use a Gold n' Hot FI and Redken Heat Glide serum.

the ion spray is kina weird...it is a liquid but when i spray it on my hair is not actually wet....its a strange consistency...not quite oily, not quite liquid....its strange, but it gets the job done....

Any Ladies using the elasta qp silk.. I tried it, but It made my hair all wet and I didn't want to fry my hair w/ the flat iron.. maybe I need to hold the bottle away more then I have been.. might try again.
