What are your views on the tradition that your FH must pay a bride price at your traditional ceremony?
I personally think it's archaic and that this should be acknowledged in a symbolic manner, rather than actually asking the groom and his parents for money. I feel that this is one tradition that will die once my parents die, as I for one will not be requesting money from my daughters' future husbands.
Would be good to hear your thoughts.
