Whisper "bleep boop" to yourself when you're sad.
I use plastic grocery bags. They're free and get the job done :look:

SIL came by today and saw me with my plastic bag on my head. She looked at me with pity and said "You know, I have some jherri curl bags at the house. I'll bring them by for you, okay?" :lachen:

I said plastic shower cap but ...

Thanks for the plastic bag idea! I have 1 million (okay, not that many) plastic grocery bags stuffed in my cabinet. Now here's a good use for them! Plus those darn shower caps have to be re-washed and the elastic doesn't last long.

Plastic shower cap. They are almost free at my BSS and I reuse them. I don't like shopping bags. Too difficult to tie around my massive head and sometimes the dye leaks from the print through the bag to the print-less side on the ones that fit (Target bags)

My BSS Sells a package of 100plastic caps for $2.99.....so when I have an extra $6 bucks lying around, I always buy two packs. Right now, I've gone buck wild and bought $20 dollars worht....about 6 packs. I think you can say I'm good for awhile to DC with plactic caps....:lachen:

I use plastic caps but thanks to a thread I started 50 million years ago (asking how many times people use their caps), I use them til I can't use them no more. I've only used about half from a bag of 20 caps I bought in February.

plastic shower cap (because they were 20 for a dollar) and a knit cap. i don't dc w/ heat so i wear the knit cap when i go running

I have a reusable shower cap that DH picked up for me from CVS a couple of years ago. I felt bad throwing out all of those plastic shower caps and I use reusable grocery bags so I don't have a ton of plastic bags around.

To the ladies that voted ''other'' what are you using?

loolahloo, glad I could be of service :D I have a billion of those bags shoved in a cabinet too. One day I ran out of shower caps and improvised. Been using grocery bags ever since

And I KNOW I ain't the only one using grocery bags! :lachen:

i voted for other because of the knit cap on top of the shower cap

I use plastic caps if I'm sitting under the dryer. But if I'm leaving it on for an hour or two during the day, I wrap it in saran wrap and wrap a towel over that. Something about the tightness of the saran wrap really helps trap the heat on my head.

Plastic conditioning/ shower cap. If I have to leave the house while DCing, I put a slouchie beanie on top of that.

Plastic caps from Sally's. I buy the 20 pack that is like $3.

I do reuse a plastic cap at least 3 times before I throw it out.

I absolutely agree! I use them cause other than that they jsut sit there anyway. Save me a bit of money...but they about to charge people for grocery bags...gotta conserve the ones I have:lachen:

Pastic cap

I've used a grocery bag a time or two as well. :look: :yep:

But how do you guys tie it?

I just sit it on my head, and tie it in the back with the "handles" or the two opening to hold the bags with.

Then i press it really flat against my headand made sure all the hairs are covered.

Charging for grocery bags???? :eek2: When will this happen? What is I'm gon do?

Fluffylocks, I put the bag on my head and pull all of the extra ''baggage'' :giggle: to the front of my head. Then grab all of the extra bag, twist it around into a plastic bun and wrap a rubber band around it. This makes it really secure. When I sleep with a bag on my head, they don't go anywhere :yep:

Hope I explained that semi-clearly :perplexed
