Think Slim
When I discovered dominican stylist in NYC, I thought that any stylist, who was from Republica Dominicana would be equal. I learned the hard way, that this is not necessarily the case. One dominican stylist in my area nearly ripped me bald
If I had to find a new stylist, here are a few things I would assess:
1. How healthy is the stylist's hair?
2. Is her salon packed?
3. How healthy/long is the hair of the average patron?
4. Does she understand my requests: roller set, blow out the roots only
5. Does she use a variety of products: Nexxus, Sebastian other well known products.
6. Does she grimmace when she runs her hands through my hair to see how much I have. I have actually had stylists say that they didn't mind blow drying my hair, but they didn't want to touch it while it's wet, because it's too thick and would take too much work to detangle.
Did I miss anything?
