What do you do for fun?

read, watch disney channel or catch up on House, How I met your mother, Golden girls for a laugh, go on facebook and play cityville, go on different forums like this one, christianforums.com, raptureready.com, soapcentral.com and chat, sometimes debate.

Did I mention going shopping? Ok it's window shopping but it's still fun.

Spend time with my family. I love hanging out with my hubby and our kids. I love visiting with my parents, grandmother, brother and SIL, uncles, aunt and cousins.

Travel.

Surf the internet. I like looking at sites like this one, house decorating sites and clothes. I read the news online as well.

Cook.

Shop. I love to shop for things for the house and for my kids. I like shopping for myself too, but I always feel like I should be spending the money on my kids.

ETA: You are gorgeous.

Spending time with my family and loved ones...my friends.

What do we do? 'Dance'... I know it may seem kinda' crazy, but we are a family who loves music and dancing. The 'Arts' are a big part of our family.

We love worship and going to Church. Church is not a ritual with us, it's a time of gathering together that we each look forward to, even the younger children in our family look forward to this, as well as attending many of the activities that the Church has for fellowship.

I love making things, it relaxes me. I sew, decorate, change my home color schemes a zillion times. I love shopping for fabrics, I love the textures and colors. Silks, Laces, Satins, Chiffons, Velvets, and Sheer Shimmer and flowing fabrics are my favorites. :reddancer:

I love spending time with my daughter; she'll always be 'Mommie's Baby Girl'. :love5: She's full grown, yet she still loves to come into my room and make herself at home. It's no surprise, there are so many treasures that dazzle her pretty brown eyes.

My girlfriends and I are in the same Dance classes and there are numerous social events that we attend together. We support each others' performances and protect each other's dreams and goals. Each month we have a prayer meeting (rotating in our different homes). We share and have prayer not only for each other, but we lift up others (co-workers, other family/friends, etc.) who share their prayer requests with us. We have a light meal after wards as we have been fasting prior to our gathering.

I love painting my toenails. :giggle: There are just so many, many MANY pretty nail colors and I enjoy treating my little toes to a new color. I wear clear or neutral tones on my fingernails... I type a lot. (no kidding... right? ).

I also love to Travel. My plans include Hawaii as a Dance student. Although I've danced their form for years, I don't want to imitate their beautiful dancing, I want to understand it as well. There's a major difference.

There's so much more. Loving Life, Loving Jesus who gave us Life... the Joy of Living in Him is beyond fun. It's eternal. :love2:

My time is limited right now between grad school, taking care of my family, working full-time (60 hrs week) and what not.

What I find entertaining is just getting in my car and driving for like an hour by myself and listening to good music or a podcast on spirituality (Joyce Meyer).

I just bought myself some skates and I enjoy just taking off for an hour or two and enjoying myself.

Shop!! :woohoo:
Hang with family and friends! Also, with my honey! We love going out to eat!
Skate! My new hobby when I have time!

-I spend time with my family and close friends.

-Read (I've discovered a love for urban Christian fiction).

-Travel.

-Attend different church functions like conferences, Christian clubs, book clubs, etc.

-Shop!

Hmm, let's see...
I love being outdoors so any type of nature activities like hiking, walking, riding bicycles, camping, birding, gardening, cooking out, you name it:grin:.
I love keeping my car clean and detailed:look:.
I love my pets- dogs, cat, gerbil.
Reading- topics: apologetics, relationships, finances, business building, health and nutrition, comic strips, certain magazines.
Spending time with family and friends at church, my home, their homes, or wherever.
Watching sports
Cooking
Traveling to popular but also off the beaten path type places.
Attending ballets, plays, an occassional opera, rodeos (yup, I said that:giggle: )
I am a bit of a closet nail fanatic too.

I enjoy life. I'm eclectic but I enjoy life.

I have major fun laughing at my 'typos' .... Major fun.

I can't believe some the words/grammar that I've messed up in my posts.

Holy Moley... :spinning: :lachen:

Prudent, I'm a bit eclectic as well and my list is similar to yours, except for the pets...

I have fun driving to other states...not so much the destination than the actual trip itself..I can drive for hours, talking or enjoying music.

OP, think you'd have fun volunteering at a local elementary school? That's a fun (mostly comical) thing, considering how fascinating kids are these days.

I'm eclectic too... :yep: Not at all the 'norm' or average; I'm not what most people expect. :look:

Off to look up the word 'eclectic'... :sekret:

I go to a lot of open mics whether Christian or not, small concerts, joy riding (literally), parks, nature stuff (tourist like) movies, hang out with my friends whether we just watch tv or go out, recently started going to more museums and that's it. Sounds bad but my social life is just starting to pick up because I have better friends and it doesn't require going to a club every week.

Thanks so much, you guys are gonna give me a long list *yea* :)

The list for enjoying life as a Christian is endless. It's truly 'Eternal' here on earth as it is in Heaven.

The truth is that Christians bring Life into life. This earth is the Lord's and the fullness thereof. He has given us the Kingdom...here! Jesus commanded us to 'occupy' (possess) this earth until He comes. He came to give us "Life" and to give us life more abundantly.

We don't have to drink, smoke, cuss, act crazy like the world just to enjoy being alive.

I love being 'Saved' and not just because it saves me from hell :nono: I just love being 'Saved' and allowing God to have glory in what I do. It's those without God who are miserable.
