what do ya'll think

ugh oh damn you just reminded me of my ex bf's mother who wore a WIG and then told me she hadn't washed her hair in two or three months...she was just slapping a wig on top of her hair.

i know the look on my face was like :perplexed because she was like 'well i just dont care'

DAMN RIGHT YOU DONT!!!

:lachen::lol::lachen::lol:

lol :grin:

one month w plastic? :nono:

is it me or is her hair getting shorter? I know she's cutting the front
but her experiments are getting a little out there....:spinning:

i don't think they are too successful

As far as I can tell those experiments are working for her. I would never not wash my hair or wear plastic for a month (its good to know she's not wrapping her SCALP in plastic :lol:, but it looks like her hair thrives.

This video was actually pretty informative. She explained how that did not work for her.

I like her experiments. Some folks are too afraid to do anything with their hair. I'm glad she's brave enough to try things. Otherwise, how would we know what works or doesn't work. Plus, as many ladies who are out here with weaves and braids and other styles and don't wash, condition, or detangle their hair for months.

I must wash my hair once a week. It's not an option. But I'm curious to see how her experiment works out. There's a woman on these boards that was/is experimenting with just mositurizing her hair with water and brushing the sebum down. I'm sure some people were like "umm..." when they read it at first, but it worked well for her from what I remember.

As far as her attitude, I think she can come off as defensive sometimes because some people really went in on her. I can think of a particular thread when she was here on LHCF in the past. There was quite a bit of back and forth about some "natural hair practices." There is a lot of tension in the "natural hair community" about "right" and "wrong" ways of hair styling and care. I'm sure there's a lot going on behind the scenes, including YouTube comments, emails, inbox messages, etc. and it gets old for her, but I'm happy she's still making videos.

Never seen her before, but I already like her videos from my quick browsing. Pretty hair, pretty girl, non-annoying voice, informative videos, she gets thumbs up from me.

As for 2 months, thats kinda long. She doesn't add product and doesn't workout, so it won't be a gunky mess....I can see doing this for 1 month with her lifestyle/regimen, but 2 might be pushing it. She will find out and let us all know though, that's for sure!
