Ladies what can I use to keep 2a hair and 3b hair edges in place all day without flaking, buildup and damage.

I know some people on here may give me a beating but honestly when I wear my hair back I put on hair conditioner mixed with a bit of amla oil and then tie my hair down and my hair stays put.

I find when I use heavy products or greasy products my edges look nappy but that is just me.

I still have an unused beyond the zone stick, which I heard works but I am afraid to use it because I do not want nappy edges.

How long is your hair?

I'm mostly 3A but I have some 3B also, when I wear my hair up in a very high bun I just smooth a little water over my hair and then smooth it into place. I might use a dab of avocado or hemp seed butter if it's very humid out.

I discovered that shealoe butter works just like gel in my hair, it only takes a little bit too. Your hair has a looser curl than mine so you'd probably need just a smidgen.

I'm a 4A/B, and I use aloe vera gel or Fantasia IC gel with no problems. I prefer the aloe vera gel, though. The trick is to apply it and brush it in (I actually smooth the edges with a fine-tooth seamless comb), then tie it down with a scarf for a few minutes.

I'm 4a, but the plain ol' brown gel works for me. I've tried several different brands and I've never had any of them flake on me and they're dirt cheap.
