What do think about Groafrohairlong.com technique

What do you guys think about growafrohairlong.com's sealing ends technique. Has anyone tried it? If so, how effective is it?

I do not like the sound of that one bit- would never try it. I live by some of the tips on this site but this sounds ridiculous to me.

I've been tempted...but naw. You're already putting 300-400 degrees of heat on the ends of your hair w/ a normal ceramic flat iron. The aluminium foil is a conductor of heat so it will keep the heat on your ends for longer no matter what temperature you set your iron on. Excess heat = damage...I'll stick to my castor oil

i would not try it but she is clear about saying warm iron and not hot and that hot aluminum will burn ur hair. i still will not be trying this.

i did that when natural and it ruined the length ofmy hair, i didn't realise at the time until i texturized and i got a lot breakage.

Hey it worked for me but you get to a point where you cant stand braids in your hair. The longest I ever went was 3 weeks. 2 months would be to long for me to keep my sanity. This is the very thing that got me hooked on daily hair washing and cowashing. It has ruined me and now I must was my hair daily if not every other day.

Same here ( ruined my ends causing them to shred) and I was so not impressed!!!!
