I have just taken out my cornrows..
they were in for about 2 1/2 wks..
I washed with ORS uplifting
ORS deep mayo conditioning overnite..
sat under dryer for 15 min with it as well..

I also prewashed last night with silk elements shampoo and conditioner..(love it)
I only had about hair about the size of a half dollar or maybe even a golf ball come out(nah, not that much). Is that bad? I am also having a little sheeding is that normal?

I have noticed my ends are really brittle..My color is finally at the ends so I wonder if that could be it..I did a big chop back in Feb I thought I got most of it but I see some....

My questions after all of that how do I moisture my ends and seal it in?

I am going to measure my hair? I am such a geek...

I think I am going to put cornrows back in...

Hey YankGal,

I just took my cornrows out as well from under my LaceFront and although my ends were sowed down they were the driest part of my hair. The rest of the length was fine but I dont think it would be unusual that your ends just may need to be trimmed. When you had cornrows, what did you do with your ends? I say dust them and keep it moving if you have tried and tried to moisturize them and they are still dry. There comes a point where the ends just need to be gone and no moisture can help them. Not 100% sure that is the case for you but it may be an option.

Dust, put the cornrows back in, and call it a day. The length you will gain from the cornrows will be worth the little you may have to dust off. Make sure you mist your ends every night if you do put them back in to prevent them from drying out again

Have you tried the baggie method?? This will probably help a lot with the moisture in your ends. I am trying it for the first time right now.
