is the roux considered a protein conditioner? my mom bought some and i tried it, but i had very little slip.
 
Is Porosity Control a liquid or is it creamy? The packet I got from Sally's (and haven't tried yet) feels creamy. But when I shake the full-size bottle it sounds very watery...

May I bother you for a review? It was a little expensive so I didn't want to rush and I was waiting for someone here to mention it.

Sometimes I use Dudley's Hair Mask. It is packaged in a tub and it is a brown color. I love the way my hair feels after I use it. I highly recommend it.

KeraCare Humecto and Elucence...whenever I can remember to reorder some. KeraCare is so much easier and convenient for me to buy since JCPenny's, Ulta 3 Cosmetics, and the Wal-Mart salon sell it.

Ive heard Diez y uno super conditioner is a protein conditioner from others on this board but I have been using it as a deep conditioner what would make you think its protein and not a moisturizing conditioner???
 
My new deep conditioner (not protein, but deep) is now Herbal Essences Intensive Blends Restoring Conditioning Balm.
 
Pantene Instant Hair Quencher (i got a sample) and i am gona go buy it! It works like you would not believe

The Roux Porosity Control has a liquidy kind of consistency. The bottle says to use it right before chemical services, but I wasn't about to wet my hair before my realxer. After I neutralized and deep protein conditioned, I put it on for a min or so and that was that. I'm not really sure what part it played in my results though.
 
I'm using Organic hair mayonasis. I saw the difference but not much I'm aspecting. I don't know what I'm doing wrong maybe the carrot grease I put on my hair to soften it or need to apply another oil.

Armyqt, I usually like mixing the porosity control with something else like motions moisture plus. Is yours the one in a white bottle that says on the back that is moisturizes,detangles and lusterizes? The conditioner itself is like a pale blue and fairly runny.
 
BRH, the one I have is made by ROUX and was in a little blue bottle. The color is the same as you desfcribe though. Good idea mixing it with another conditioner though. Is the one you have by Revlon?

I don't know why but moisturefuse performs SUPERBLY when mixed with oils. Its also great when mixed with a little extra virgin olive oil.

Yes, the one I have is by Revlon. I had it recc'd to me years ago by a stylist and kind of stuck with it now as part of my regime. I haven't used it in a little while though. I wonder if ours are the same at all.... maybe we should post ingredients? I can do that later on tonight when I'm home from work.

U r so right, that was the first time I ever mixed it with oil. And I couldn't beleive the results.
 
Can the porosity control be used in a condition wash and how can it be used? is it considered a deep conditioner? It says only leave it on for a short time and i thought the deep condtioner you needed to use it with heat. am i off?

I missed your response, sorry for the delayed reply. My hair loves the Salerm Wheat Germ Mask. It is pricey, so I use it sparingly. I've experienced excellent results using it. My hair was silky, detangled and soft after the application. I agree, we do have similar tastes in conditioners.
