I want to know because I brought some from the herb store and its yellow in color and I ordered some from mountain herbs and its dark green in color and it also has a different smell to it.

yep, I have a bottle of the pure, unrefined kind from mountainroseherbs and it's dark green and it smells kinda gross. But the refined version I have from FromNatureWithLove is light yellow and odorless. I believe that is normal with refined vs. unrefined types of oils and butters. It just means you have the real deal version

ITA! the refined cost more for less than I got from mountainroseherb. I wonder if it has the same affect?

I use food grade cold pressed avocado oil from the grocery store and it is green. It has to be refrigerated after opening and turns into a solid after it has been there for awhile.

There are a lot of different types of avocados ranging from light to dark green. I'm guessing they would make different oils.
