Okay, I have to vent about hair-related stuff I'm tired of seeing in 2006. There's a bunch of stuff, but I'm only going to list one right now in case people wanna chime in.

1. I'se tired of seeing weave hair all over the place--I see old weave and braid like discarded cigs. I see it on the bus, caught in fences, rolling along the sidewalk with the wind, at the bus stop, on the subway...

People can we take down weave and braids AT HOME???!!! Please stop leaving weave all over the city--I swear birds are coming up cause they don't need to find twigs and branches to build their nests--they're using leftover weave!

What hair trends, hair care, products, tools, and hair attitudes are you tired of seeing in 2006?

Ok, I did see some weave hair on the floor in the ladies bathroom at the office I used to work at so I know what you mean.

Im tired of seeing colored weaves like pink and purple LOL. I also dont like that new two toned look like beyonce blond and a regular brown or black together............ and you know it cant be blended to look decent, its separated. Umm like Rmey ma. Maybe it will grow on me but for now uhhh, no:nono: .

I saw some used weave tracks in a parking lot before so I know where you're coming from.

For one, I am tired of seing those 'super grow' greases that promises to to 'grow thicker, longer hair' that only contain petroleum, mineral oil, and fragrance! What a rip off!

For two I hate to see, something marketed as (for example) Jojoba shampoo, but jojoba is so far down the ingredient list it is non-existent to the hair:mad:

I hear you. I've seen braid hair on the subway platform blowing in the wind. illl!

I am tired of seeing people wearing braids who edges start at the back of their ears and they have the nerve to have the braids up in a pony tail.

Stop it...stop it..I have been relaxer free for 13 months. My edges are still not recovering. I have been natural for 7 months. I still have gaps in my hair from the relaxer and braids. Thank God my hair is thick enough to cover these gaps.

Let it go. Its just not working for you.

OKAY!? Will the orange, blue, fushia, black/white, rainbow-bright colored hair trend EVER DIE? I saw a middle school girl with long orange and black braids today. The girl was like 11 or 12. What's up with that? How does her mom/dad let her go out like that?

I see a single braid or two every now and then on the street. My first thought always is, somebody caught a beat down and got scalped.

*I'm tired of seeing those hair styles with the humps in the front and the rest of the hair out...GooSSHH!!...I hate those styles l0l

*I'm tired of Mother's torturing their poor little girls by trying to pull ALL of their hair into a pony

*I get tired of seein Blonde hair on a dark skinned girl l0l..well hell every girl

*This is not related to hair, but I am so tired those ugly ass UGG boots...Man whoever invented them should be slapped...It is FLORIDA...why you need those??? come onnn....

I got more I've got to think...

Uggh, this drives me crazy. I went home and my mom had some Jojoba oil hair food. It was grease in a bottle, with Jojoba as the LAST ingredient. That mess probably had 1/16th of a drop of jojoba oil in it. Sadly, my mom still uses it.

This is the most right on thing said, girl. I live in Illinois, so it gets kinda cold, but just cause your boots say UGG on the back doesn't mean it's ok for them to be dirty, ratty, to' up, for you to stick sweatpants in them, or wear them with gaucho pants. It makes even the skinniest of the girls around here look fatter than me. Pretty much, it's never ok to wear gaucho pants anyway. It looks like it's time for a "fashion no-no" thread, lol.

This whole topic gets a  :lachen:  :lachen:  :lachen:  :lachen: from me, rofl.

I'm so with you on folks taking down their weaves and braids in public like it's no tomorrow. Last summer I was always seeing girls taking down microbraids on the bus. And they'd have hair everywhere! I'm like DAMN! Go to whoever did your micros (nine times out of ten it's usually Africans) and let THEM take your s**t down. Next time pick a braid style that's "take down friendly" so you can take down your hair at home and not litter the St. Louis metro area with your damn extension hair!!!!

Yeah, and another thing about braids - I'm tired of girls and women getting braids put in so tight they're pushing their scalps and hairlines to within an inch of their lives. Bald spots and non-existent hairlines caused by super-tight braids are NOT a fashion statement.

I saw a lady like that the other day, her hairline didnt start at the back of her ears though, but it was close to it, I had to do a triple take! She was wearing tight *** braids, which probably was the cause of her jacked up hairline. All I was thinking was that she really could use some MTG.

I'm tired of seeing:

*Multi Colored Weaves
*Dirty Braids & Dred Locks
*Crusty Hard Frozen Hairstyles

Thats all for now..:)

This thread is hilarious:lol: .

It amazes me how these tight braid wearing people dont make the connection between the tight braids and their receeding hairline coz they keep wearing them. Or maybe they just dont care:confused:

I agree with your second thought, but petroleum based super grow greases really work for me, so keep those coming!

:lachen: LMFAO!!! :lachen:

Guess that's city living for ya...

Prime example: Susan Taylor (the editor of Essence magazine). Her damn hairline is in the middle of her head!

ROFL at the entire thread. :lachen:

1.Tired kinky twists that look like the hair on a Raggedy Ann doll and then have the nerve to throw in one WHITE  twist.

2. The wannabe Keyshia Cole/Remy Ma blond in the front and red/black brown in the back style.

3. A silky phony ponytail on hair that looks like it's transitioning.

4. WEAVE WEAVE WEAVE!!!!!

That's my thought too. I saw some one time with the hair still attached! SUMBODY GOT THEY *** WHUPPED!

Lately I've been seeing women wearing weave that's so ancient, its starting to stiffen, roll and nap up like real hair.

Please buy some fresh weave!!!

No I'm tired of those matted wigs you know the kind that's suppose to be a straw set but it's been worn so long it looks dry has no body in it and just looks plain nasty You know after a couple of wears you are suppose to wash or throw the wig away I mean it only cost about 30 dollars and if you do the math that's about 10 wash n sets in a 6 month period but dag you ain't suppose to wear the wig for 6 months or longer:eek:

 Currently shld length attaining

I'm tired of seeing folks hanging on to hair that looks a H.A.M.

Do not tell me that your hair is really long when your split ends go all the way up to your chin and the ends of your hair look like they got caught in the shredder at work. Or there are only 14 strands of hair below your shoulders.

Healthy hair at any length is sexy.
