Hello LHCF ladies,
Just returning to scene and Im clueless about whats new, can you guys fill me in? What are using for hair growth? What moisturizers are better NOW? Is anyone still using Indian products(shakaikai,brahmi,eyc..ect) for hair growth? I NEED TO KNOW EVERYTHING!!!:drunk:

Hi! I am in the sulfur challenge and I recently got roughly an inch in just 30 days of use with my mix. I use Brahmi oil, Amla oil, Bhringraj oil, a few drop of peppermint oil and sulfur. I can't remember if I added a little of the pimento strong roots oil to it at the time when I mixed it or not but I know for sure I used the other oils.

i don't use anything --mostly because my regimen is very simple and i'm reluctant to complicate things. but i've heard good things about sulphur. hopefully a few others with first hand experience can come chime in

I'm in the Sulfur challenge and right now I use sulfur mixed w/ EVOO on my scalp. I haven't done it long enough to know if it works on my hair.

The only person THAT I KNOW OF that used a growth aid and actually showed proof of her growth was NJoy. She used a sulfur mix. I'm not saying that all the other growth aids don't work, but I've just never seen actual pics.

If someone has pics to show what a growth aid has done for them, please post.

I'm returning from a long absence too. Welcome back!

I just started using sulfur in an oil mix. I used MTG a while ago with some success. Now I bought sulfur on Amazon and made my own horsey mix. :cowgirl:

THANKS LADIES,
I just purchased some products from HAIRVEDA and some indian oils to add to my mixture I already use

How do you do that?

the secret is hair retention

low manipulation
a balance between moisture and protein
using minimal to no heat appliances
keeping your scalp and hair cleansed
covering your hair at night with silk or satin
avoid things or materials that will snag or rub your hair off causing breakage, split ends
handling your hair like fine silk or china
avoid harsh products and chemicals for some

Im currently using Megatek, I have sulfur as well, im jst tryna figure out how I"m going to use it.
Hey ladies I have a question, are sulfur mixed supposed to be washed off the scalp after its applied to the scalp for a period of time? (A couple hours or so).
Or is it something u dnt have to wash out immediately? (Like a couple of days or two).
someone please enlighten me :)
thanks in advance

i just started drinking trimedica MSM this week. I have noticed my nails have grown a little faster. and my body does not hurt as bad after workouts. It is also supposed to help with hair growth.

i add 2 teaspoons daily to my juice. at night i have started using a full tablespoon of the MSM in juice.

I dont want to use a topical growth aid because i dont want to risk messing up my progress

Usually, nothing. Lately, I bought some more Amazing Grass, and Green SuperFood. It was recommended to me by EllePixie. Even though it has been pushed on me by my brother as the cure for everything, I always ignored him. But after some thought, his skin is flawless, and hair growth is re-dunk-ulous. (Haircuts 2x a week). Between the two of them, I's a believer. Or an attempter to say the least.

...ehhh......healthy hair practices.....

moisturizing and sealing ends, protective stying, low manipulation and choosing products that are beneficial to my strands

Nothing.
I try to drink 100oz of water every day, work out and, eat healthy.
I don't believe in topical "miracles" anyway.

nothing
I don't believe in growth aids and have yet to see anyone show that it has helped them at all

I have seen posts where people claim that they get an inch or extra inch a month using a growth aid but I don't see the visuals nor do I see any significant gains in length over the following months.

The people I have seen with fast growing hair come by it naturally...it's just their growth rate.

As others have said, retention is the key.

low manipulation
protective styling
being gentle when combing and detangling your hair
moisturizing your hair properly and often/as needed

I used to use growth aids in the beginning of my hair care journey. However, it is to much work for me so I just let my hair grow naturally.

I use some indian products. I don't like playing kitchentician and dabbling in a lot of powders so I use an Ayurvedic shampoo bar and Vatika Oil.

Other than that what I use for growth is protecting my hair from the cold weather with my satin-lined hats, moisturizing daily, protein and moisture balance and a good diet + exercise.

Being consistent with my reggie, taking a good Multivit high in biotin, MSM, Silica, Gelatin and exercising 4-5x a week.
