What are you favourite hair smoothing butters

I'm looking for smoothing butters for my protective hairstyles bantu knots and twists. please name any good ones or ingredients i could mix myself to obtain a soft, smooth look.

How much do you mix of each product? and what is the consistency like? thanks....

I mixed both products and then microwave them- I don't know about the measurements, the consistency of the end is result is like a creamy leave in after it's cold-

you mircowave them. not for long right? about 30 seconds is this enough time?

I heard that its suppose to be a good heat protector

I just bought a really nice butter for my hair esp the ends it is called Hapi hair 'ultra rich hair milk' it is meant for natural styles. It was pricey $16 for 8oz but it is so lovely. Very heavy and a bit greasy but that is what I wanted.
Maybe you could make some..

castor oil,
jojoba oil
water
fragrance

I love mango butter. I use it alone. Just rub it between my hands so it melts a bit.

It is sort of heavy. I microwave before applying to twists because its so thick; the smell is pretty strong also-very sweet. HTH

Den 1, it can be greasy, so don't overdo it. But it washes out fine. There's no buildup or anything.
