I'm looking for smoothing butters for my protective hairstyles bantu knots and twists. please name any good ones or ingredients i could mix myself to obtain a soft, smooth look.
I mixed both products and then microwave them- I don't know about the measurements, the consistency of the end is result is like a creamy leave in after it's cold-

you mircowave them. not for long right? about 30 seconds is this enough time?
I just bought a really nice butter for my hair esp the ends it is called Hapi hair 'ultra rich hair milk' it is meant for natural styles. It was pricey $16 for 8oz but it is so lovely. Very heavy and a bit greasy but that is what I wanted.
Maybe you could make some..

. I can get hold of the oils quite easily. i may have search around for places that sell sheabutter.
