Does anyone moisturize their hair w/ Wild Growth Hair Oil everyday?

On the bottle is says no more than 1 to 3 times a week, but I love how it makes my hair shiny and doesn't way it down. Why is that? Will it have a negative effect if used everyday?

I do!

It's the only thing that moisturizes my hair right now and it doesn't leave my hair greasy! It's nice and light, too.

I used to until I found something that eliminated the need for it.

What is it that you found?

I would really like something to smell a little better. I put on some LAST night and it is still strong this morning...well it would matter that I put a big ol' handful on, but still...........

I do! But i also wash my hair every week use a whole lot.

Try putting less of it on. I only use like two dime sized amounts on my hair and I can't smell it at all, neither can anyone else. I thought that I had to use a whole lot at first because my hair is dry, but I found out that if I reduced the amount that I put on my hair, my hair faired better.

OT - Great progress, Miss Jettsetter!

Not on topic, but:

I was about to go buy some, but after looking at the ingredients, I might just see how plain olive oil will works becuase it has some of the same properties on it's own (ie:natural linolec acid (sp?). I used to use wgo a long time ago on my natural hair, but it really didn't do anything. My natural hair was only soft when it was moist/misted with water. I though that the wgo would help to seal in some of the moisture, but when my hair dried, it went back to the crispy feel and the oil just sat on top of the hair strands.:ohwell: I dunno.....I always give some products another chance to see if they'll work differently. If they don't, then they go to the product graveyard.

I co-wash and use WGHO every night before bedtime. I apply it to my hair while it is damp and spray surge 14 in and give myself a scalp massage. I have been doing this for three months now with no ill effects. My hair is growing.

The smell fades quickly if your hair is wet. I only had to make the mistake of putting it on my hair dry once. Not only did the smell wake me up over the course of the night. I had my job smelling like curry all day and I could still smell it on my pillow the next night.

I use it every other day, and I shampoo and condition my hair twice a week. I don't use it everyday because I have fine hair and too much weighs it down. Using it every other day is just right for me. :D

I use my WGO as a pre-shampooh treatment only once a week. I shampoo my hair twice a week. On the Sunday wash is when I use the WGO as a pre-shampoo treatment for my hair and scalp---I apply it to my scalp and hair and let it sit for about 30 minutes to an hour. I really like it--A definite hair staple ! :)
