I have always thought that combing/brushing your hair while wet caused more breakage because the hair was at weakest :perplexed but I do know that adding conditioners give you slip, therefore causing less breakage. However, combing/brushing dry hair can also cause breakage :perplexed.

Which method is correct? Do you choose whichever one gives you less breakage? :spinning:

TIA

It depends on your hair, and how much force you are using to comb/brush it - so yeah, whichever one results in the least breakage and tenderheadedness is the one you should go with.

I do the majority of manipulating on my soaking wet, conditioner coated hair - I don't really like combing my hair while it's dry......it feels more fragile then.
