Wet Hair

I do!

Though I think depending on what sort of leave-in you have this can come back to bite you in the butt. I had to ditch one leave-in because when I applied it to wet hair it dried hard, I prefer getting a little something in there while the hair is wet and once it's dry giving it a little something extra.

Yup, I'm real good to my hair :look:

I just referenced this in another thread.

Normally, it would defy reason to me to seal hair when it's dry because the purpose of the oil is to "seal" in the moisture (i.e. water).

BUT, depending on the type of leave-in you're using, maybe it contains an oil too so the leave-in is actually a moisturizer/sealant all in one. And the extra oil you're applying to your hair when its dry doesn't really serve a purpose, other than maybe adding sheen or shine to your hair.

I hope this makes sense. It's late and I'm starting to ramble lol.

I always dampen my hair before sealing with oil, either with water, a leave-in or a moisturizer. Seems to work better when your hair is wet or damp, IMO.

I moisturize and seal on wet hair. Then very lightly do so again on dry. But I do it on dry hair because...well wow idk why I do that  I think sealing on wet hair would be more beneficial.

I only ever use S Curl. I do apply it to damp hair and then later when my hair is fully dry. This is only when wearing my hair out. When in braids/twists, I don't use anything as a leave-in.

Hmmm...

I do everything to my wet hair then adjust oil again once its dry. I was thinking that damp is better for the same reason we should apply lotion to damp skin instead of dry - it locks the moisture in.
