This may be ignant but:
If a person has silky textured hair or looser curls I take their recommendations as a grain of salt, especially if their hair was always very long.

They just don’t have the same struggle as me

I keep looking at them on Pint.er.est and I'm obsessed.

My Google pics made a collage of my inventory pictures from 2019. Some of the items are still in my possession. I'm not tossing them. But I do need to rearrange how they are stored in my closest.

Went to the BSS for some braiding hair and wig caps. Found out this particular store has the ENTIRE Skala lines. Like, they have shampoo, conditioner, leave-ins etc. It took every thing in my not to fill my cart.

I finally detangled and re-twisted my hair. It took about three weeks of procrastination and unfinished attemps.

Gone try to keep this BF Spending down to a bare minimum. May grab one or two things from SSI and Peace-Out......

I did not partake in BF Hair Related Sales this year.

Frankly, I didn't think the "Sales" were that great and I could not justify making any purchases.

Back in the day....when LHCF was poppin' we use to stay up all night waiting for the Sales to start to get in & get out

It's not what it used to be. And every time I look at my stash I get overwhelmed

That's why I've been lurking in your "Reduce Your Stash Thread" to see if I can make a meaningful dent in mine in 2026

Join us in the Reduce Your Stash. You don't have to go all in. Just post a couple of things you want to work on in the current month. Its all about the support and progress. No hard and fast rules. I gave that up a few years ago.

I need this group next year for sure! I'm buying things because I want to try them, I still have so much stuff to get through, I need to get a handle on it before it starts to get overwhelming.

I've reduced the frequency of wash days for the last few months, this obviously doesn't help with using up my stash with any pace. I'm so far into PJism that the use one buy one challenge wouldn't even help me lol.

I also think that if I was in a group/challenge to use up my stash, I would likely feel motivated to increase the wash day schedules. I do love a hair challenge, and the EOY/BOY new challenge posts.

I'm going to go through my oils/ butters/ raw ingredients stash and throw stuff out. Not because I don't like or want them, but because regardless -- just like food -- it goes bad. I have a couple off old bottles of product I hold on to for the ingredient list, but they're so old I don't want to try putting them near my scalp.
